I've decided to consolidate all of my blogs in one place. I'll still update this one occasionally, but the majority of my posts will now be at Internet Marketing Ebook Reviews, and also Internet Marketing Tool Reviews. These are the two "official" blogs for Best Biz Builders.

Is reciprocal linking dead? Lately, I've begun to receive a few link requests from webmasters who are willing to link to me from one of their sites, and have me reciprocate by linking to a different one of their sites. Even if the request isn't formulated that way when I receive it, I try my best to respond to link requests by doing the same thing ... they link to my lower PR site, and get a "return link" from one of my higher PR sites. We both get an incoming "one way link", which the search engines give more weight to than to reciprocal links back and forth between two sites. I've yet to have anyone turn down my request, although I wonder how many webmasters really recognize the value in this strategy ...

I've been a member of Empowerism for about five months, and am absolutely thrilled. This is a first-class site for learning the basics of internet marketing, and the "double your money" RSVP leads program is a winner. I'm making more, and more consistent money than ever before. Unlike all the copy cat "doublers" that have sprung up in the past few months, this program sells a tangible product that is in demand, which should keep it running indefinitely. I recently started using Link Explore, the link-finding solution from Sumantra Roy. The software helps you find sites with high Page Rank that are willing to exchange links. Sites are sorted into a large number of fairly specific categories. I used the software to find around a dozen new links for one of my sites that had PR of 0, and few incoming links. On the next PR update a few weeks later, I suddenly had a PR of 5! I have no idea if Link Explore is solely responsible for that leap in PR, but I can't otherwise explain it, as I made very few other changes to the site, and had only begun to re-optimize some of the pages. If nothing else, I found a number of high-quality link partnerships that would not otherwise have been available to me.

Web Position Gold Version 3 ROCKS! I wasn't that fond of earlier versions of WPG. Too cluttered and confusing to learn for my taste. Then I tried Version 3. WOW. Much easier to use, and my pages are starting to move up in the search engine rankings. Read my review.
I've never tried Wordtracker until recently. A trial subscription came with my purchase of the new Web Position Gold. I'm so impressed and pleased with Wordtracker that I'm sure I'll be using it from now on. It makes finding key word phrases a breeze, and I've started developing a lot of doorway pages and lead capture pages using some of the highest ranked relevant search terms.
