Is your Internet Business living up to your expectations?
Have you spent countless hours trying to find that one little niche that will let you tap into the Internet Goldmine?
It’s tough, isn’t it?
And what makes it even tougher is that everywhere you look you see ‘gurus’ selling ‘get rich quick’ information.
‘Gurus’ who tell you that you can be like them and make $100,000+ a year online…
…all you have to do is find your niche!
So how do you do this?
Well the ‘gurus’ tell you to write a list of all your hobbies, find something you’re interested in, do some keyword research and you’ll be laughing all the way to the bank!
Isn’t it so easy for the ‘gurus’ to tell you this! Even as you’re reading, you’re saying to yourself…
…“What niches outside ‘get rich quick’ are you marketing in? All I want to do is learn about making money and do the same as you!”
And I was the same…
…my problem was I had no hobbies. Or none that I could make money out of anyway.
I’d spent the last 4 years gaining my accountancy qualification, and the 4 years before that in University.
This scared me, a lot. In fact I was beginning to get worried that I’d missed the Internet boat altogether!
If only I hadn’t spent the last 4 years as a 'bean counter' and had discovered the Internet instead!
But my gut feeling was that there were still plenty of possibilities on the Internet, and I decided that I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t give it one more go.
And if I was going to do it, I was going to do it right!
I was going to find the most profitable, least competitive niches that existed on the Internet!
So here’s what I did…
I took a trip down to my local book shop and bought a dictionary.
I spent 2 weeks reading the dictionary page by page, and writing down every word that I thought might have some commercial potential on the Internet.
My friends ridiculed me!
But I ended up with a list of 2,786 words that I thought there might exist a market for.
I sat down at my computer and typed each of these words into a spreadsheet.
I then started looking up each of these words on Google.
I made notes of what sort of sites were in the top 10, how many sponsored listings there were, and any potential opportunities there were for each keyword.
