Product Review : Make a Living Online

Jim Daniels, the author of Make a Living Online, is regarded by many as one of the original internet marketing gurus. Apparently, Jim's been in online business since the mid-90s, so he has plenty of experience to share with us. This product is somewhat unique, since instead of getting a downloadable ebook, you actually get a paperback book in the mail.

The book is well-written and clear, and quite informative to the internet business novice. As far as I was concerned, however, what made the book especially valuable was the fact it also included a two-year membership to Jim's "members only" web site, which is chock full of useful information and resource links.

To me, the website is the heart of this product. Granted, much of what I learned there I could have found elsewhere online, but it would have taken me months of searching to find all that material. Further, assuming I was a beginner (which I actually was when I read Jim's book and web site) I would not have known which products and information to trust.

Jim takes care of that for you, having sifted through tons of products and services to find what he recommends on his site. He also writes some absolutely terrific articles on internet marketing, which are also available through his web sites.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of Jim's products or websites, and in fact, I consider him one of my "mentors". Jim tends to concentrate on the "nuts and bolts" of internet marketing, whereas my other favorite, Ken Evoy, teaches you a great deal about the "process" of marketing and selling.

Jim's was the very first decent internet marketing information that I came across when just starting out. For that, I count myself very lucky!
