Product Review : Site Buildit

When I first read about Site Build It, I resisted learning more about it. I was new to the idea of starting my own internet business, and trying to keep my costs down, so I resisted what appeared to be the high price of this product. In retrospect, I missed out on the best bargain I could have found as a beginning webmaster, an error I have since corrected.

This product gives you nearly everything you need to start, build, and maintain a web site. You can generate web pages with little or no knowledge of HTML (although having at least a rudimentary grasp helps). The intensive PDF tutorial that comes with the package leads you step-by-step through the process of creating a web site the right way the first time, so you don't have to go back later (as I did) and re-do a lot of your work.

You are guided through the process of selecting a theme for your site, finding the best keywords and keyword phrases to use for your site, and then you begin to build pages. As your site begins to take shape, your pages are automatically submitted to the appropriate search engines. You are led through the processes of signing up for the pay-per-click engines of your choice, and developing quality reciprocal links with other web sites whose content compliments the theme of your site.

While I don't consider myself an expert, I have studied the subject of designing user-friendly and search engine friendly web sites quite intensively for nearly a year. I can confidently say that there is relatively little that I have learned in that time that is not included in Site Build It. I can only think of a couple of esoteric strategies I have learned elsewhere that are not included in SBI, but I feel confident that 90 percent or more of the expert knowledge that I gained from nearly a year of studying various manuals, ebooks, software tools, and web sites, is already included in this package.

Quality hosting with unlimited bandwidth? Included. Domain name registration? Included. Help selecting the best domain name? Included. Web page creation requiring little or no knowledge of HTML? Included. Search engine optimization? Included. Automated and semi-automated search engine submission? Included. Controls to be sure you don't spam the search engines? Included. Keyword and keyword phrase analysis and brainstorming? Included. Link popularity and link reputation building tools? Included. Mailing list development and newsletter publishing cabability? Included. Traffic analysis and link-monitoring? Included. E-commerce and Affiliate Program capability? Included.

The feature list goes on and on, and features are being added to SBI on a regular basis. I was particularly enthused recently to find that existing web sites and HTML files can now be imported into SBI, so those who already have a site, or who prefer to edit their pages in the traditional way are accommodated. An integrated e-commerce module is reportedly in the works and due to be released soon, so SBI owners will no longer need to sub-contract things like credit-card processing and electronic product delivery.

I found Site Build It very easy to use, with very clear step-by-step instructions. I have not yet needed to access the support staff, but would expect the quality of the support available to be as first-rate as the product itself.

It took me over two months to build my first web site using traditional methods. Recently, I developed a similar, but larger site using SBI, and the whole thing took about two weeks. Need I say more?

I wish somebody had led me to SBI right from the outset of my internet business quest.

On the other hand, I'm now in a position to truly appreciate the incredible value that this package represents, and can recommend it without reservation.
